Abstract
Rad obuhvaća opis i princip rada kompjutorizirane tomografije (CT). Prednosti i nedostatke, radiološke metode pored drugih metoda pri pregledu abdomena. Razvoj CT-a kroz njegovu povijest. Tijek pretrage i pripremu bolesnika za snimanje. Štetne učinke na pacijenta i na radiološkog tehnologa. Unutar rada obrađena je i tema kompjutorizirane tomografije kod pojedinih organa abdomena i detekcije traume, te prikaz mogućnosti i važnosti pretrage u donošenju pravilne dijagnoze.
