Abstract	Med je gusta, slatka tekućina, svijetložute do tamnosmeđe boje koji proizvode pčele medarice od cvjetnog nektara i medne rose. Pčele proizvode med već 150 milijuna godina i na isti način. Med za pčele predstavlja zalihu za hladnu i dugu zimu za vrijeme koje cvijeće ne cvjeta i ne proizvodi biljne sokove.
