Abstract
Akutna disekcija aorte je stanje u kojem dolazi do razdora i oštećenja intime aorte što dovodi do razdvajanja dva sloja aorte: intime i medije te se stvara lažni lumena u koji utječe krv. Kako u svakom trenutku može doći do rupture aorte, potrebno je hitno medicinski intervenirati. Najčešći faktor rizika, koji je povezan s pojavom disekcije aorte, je loše regulirana arterijska hipertenzija stoga je u ovih bolesnika od vitalne važnosti dobra regulacija krvnog tlaka. U ovom radu objasnit ćemo građu i funkciju aorte, nabrojiti i pojasniti etiološke čimbenike koji pridonose nastanku disekcije, te navesti podjelu disekcije aorte jer je ona važna u liječenju bolesnika. Također ćemo se osvrnuti na dijagnostičke procedure koje su bitne u prepoznavanju ovog stanja te će se opisati stanje arterijske hipertenzije kao glavnog uzroka pojave disekcije aorte na koji možemo utjecati. Spomenut će se i vrste liječenja koje mogu biti konzervativne tj. medikamentozne i kiruške. Također, će se objasniti uloga i intervencije koje provode medicinske sestre/tehničari u ovom zbivanju.
