Abstract	Opsesivno kompulzivni poremećaj (OKP) tek se prije dvadeset godina počeo intervenirati od strane stručnjaka. Četvrti je po redu po učestalosti u populaciji i znatno otežava svakodnevno optimalno funkcioniranje u aktivnostima samozbrinjavanja, produktivnosti i slobodnog vremena. S obzirom da su to glavna područja djelovanja radnog terapeuta, njegova je uloga jako važna u intervenciji. U ovom preglednom radu bit će opisan poremećaj, objašnjena uloga radnog terapeuta te će biti navedene metode koje se mogu koristiti kod samopomoći i stručne pomoći. U završnom dijelu bit će opisan model humane okupacije kroz prikaz slučaja, tehnike samopomoći kroz prikaz slučaja i suportivna grupna terapija.
