Abstract	Visok rizik za infekcije jedna je od najčešćih sestrinskih dijagnoza s kojom se susreću medicinske sestre. Stanje je u kojem je pacijent izložen riziku nastanka infekcijeuzrokovane patogenim mikroorganizmima. Jedan od najčešćih uzroka hospitalnih infekcija je uvođenje urinarnog katetera. Kod pacijenta s visokim rizikom za infekciju medicinska sestra treba utvrditi potrebu za zdravstvenom njegom, a to će postići prikupljanjem podataka od pacijenta.
