Abstract
Artroza kuka ubraja se u najčešće bolesti kuka u starijoj životnoj dobi, ali danas postaje i bolest mlađe dobne skupine. Prevencija artroze zahtijeva prijevremeno otkrivanje uzroka koji mogu dovesti do razvoja artroze kuka i njihovo adekvatno uklanjanje. Terapija preventivne artroze mora biti uzročna i mora se izvesti u dobi dok još nisu nastale iverzibilne promjene zgloba tj. dok postoji mogućnost oblikovanja zgloba.
