Abstract
Elektroprocedure su dio fizioterapije koja a primjenjuju se u cilju terapije određenih stanja i smanjenju boli. Ona je dio cjelokupne fizioterapijske intervencije. Elektroprocedure se mogu primjenjivati kod različitih mišićno koštanih ali i neuroloških stanja. Primjenjuje se u tretmanu pareza, hemipareza, urinarne disfunkcije, reduciranje boli, hematoma, podljeva, hipotonusa, itd. Kod tretmana se uvijek pazi da se mišići ne dovedu u fazu prenaprezanja i neželjene boli. Blago peckanje i mravinjanje je kod određenih elektroterapije poželjno, iako ga često pacijenti ni ne osjete ukoliko je došlo do oštećenja živca Najveća primjena elektroterapije kod neuroloških pacijenata je kod osoba s perifernim lezijama, te osoba nakon moždanog udara, multiple skleroze, spinalnih ozljeda i dr.
